Strategy-Led Design

Work begins with business objectives and user behavior, translating strategy into modular systems that scale across web, email, social, and print.

Structured Creative Systems

Consistent typography, color logic, depth standards, and layout frameworks create brand cohesion and reduce visual noise.

Forward-Looking Craft

Design decisions account for evolving digital standards and production realities, ensuring assets remain adaptable and relevant over time.

Design is how strategy becomes visible.

Art, craft, and visual exploration

Creativity has always been part of my story. Growing up in a family that valued craftsmanship and aesthetics, I was surrounded by people who appreciated how things were made and how they looked. Art class quickly became my playground, where I experimented with drawing, painting, photography, and visual storytelling.

Digital curiosity and web learning

As the internet began to expand, I became fascinated with the creative possibilities of the web and taught myself how to code, which ultimately led me into the world of web design. That curiosity eventually led me to study Visual Communication and Graphic Design, where I further developed my skills across multiple creative disciplines.

Motion and visual storytelling

Early in my career, I explored a wide range of visual mediums, including video editing and motion-based storytelling. Working on video projects allowed me to develop a strong sense of pacing, composition, and narrative structure while producing visually engaging content through editing, motion, and sound design. This experience shaped how I approach digital design today, with a focus on clarity, movement, and guiding users through visual experiences.

Brand systems and campaign strategy

Over the past 15+ years, that early creative curiosity has evolved into a multidisciplinary design career spanning agencies, in-house marketing teams, and freelance work. My experience bridges design, storytelling, and technology, allowing me to approach projects with both creative vision and practical execution.

Responsive design and campaign delivery

Early in my design career, I worked as a front-end designer and developer creating responsive websites, landing pages, and email campaigns while applying analytics and A/B testing to improve performance and conversions. My time in the advertising and marketing industry further deepened my understanding of brand storytelling and exposed me to a wide range of industries and creative challenges.

Creative leadership and digital strategy

I later served as a Senior Interactive Art Director at The frank Agency, where I helped guide creative strategy for national clients and collaborated with designers, developers, and marketing teams to create award-winning digital experiences grounded in user insights and brand strategy.

Marketing, craft, and collaboration at Rio Grande

Today, I work as a Web & Graphic Designer within the Marketing and Creative team at Rio Grande Jewelry Supply, where I collaborate across departments to design cohesive web, email, and print campaigns. I also mentor fellow designers and contribute to cross-functional creative initiatives that help maintain strong brand consistency while supporting evolving marketing goals.

Purpose-driven visual systems

Across every stage of my journey, my goal has remained the same: to create thoughtful, engaging design that connects people with ideas. I’m passionate about building strong visual systems, collaborating with creative teams, and crafting work that helps brands communicate clearly and tell meaningful stories.
